Hit your monthly limit but do not want to upgrade to a higher tier? Top-ups give you extra generations at a flat rate. They are designed for occasional overages and one-time campaigns that push you past your regular limit.
How top-ups work
Go to Settings > Billing > Top-ups. Click "Buy 50 generations" for $9.99. The credits are added instantly to your account and available for immediate use. You can buy multiple top-ups in a row if you need more than 50. There is no limit on how many top-ups you can purchase per month.
Top-up math
50 generations for $9.99 = $0.20 per ad. This is slightly more expensive per-ad than the Starter plan's effective rate of $0.15 per ad, but without the monthly commitment. The top-up rate reflects the flexibility of pay-as-you-go versus a subscription. If you are consistently buying 3+ top-ups per month ($29.97 or more), upgrading to Starter ($29/month for 200 generations) is more cost-effective. If you are buying 5+ top-ups per month, consider Pro ($79/month for unlimited).
Rollover
Unused top-up credits roll over month to month. They do not expire. If you buy 50 credits in March and use 30, the remaining 20 carry forward to April. These rollover credits are used before your monthly allowance, so they get consumed first. You can see your top-up balance on the dashboard usage bar, displayed separately from your monthly allowance.
Top-ups on the Free plan
Yes, Free plan users can buy top-ups. You do not need a paid subscription to purchase extra generations. This is useful for occasional projects or one-time campaigns where you need more than 20 ads but do not want a monthly commitment. For example, a founder preparing a product launch might buy 2-3 top-ups to generate 100-150 ads without subscribing.
Refunds on unused top-ups
Top-up credits are non-refundable. Since they do not expire, there is no risk of losing unused credits. If you cancel your account, any remaining top-up credits are preserved for 90 days in case you return.
