"Create more like this" variant generation

Generate variations of ads that are almost right.

When an ad has the right direction but needs iteration, use "Create more like this" to generate variants without starting from scratch. This is one of the most powerful features for improving your ad creative over time.

How it works

Click the branch icon on any ad (queued, approved, or even skipped). Mani analyzes the original ad's angle, hook style, format, and messaging approach. It then generates 3 new variations that preserve the core concept while changing specific elements. The variants appear in your queue within 30 seconds, grouped together so you can compare them easily.

What changes in variants

  • Hook variations: Same angle and product focus, but different opening lines. If the original uses a question hook, variants might try a statistic hook, a bold claim, or a customer quote approach.
  • Layout variations: Same copy, different visual arrangement. A single-image ad might become a split-panel, a text-overlay, or a product-centered layout.
  • CTA variations: Same ad with different calls to action. "Shop Now" versus "Try Free" versus "See It In Action" can dramatically change click-through rates.
  • Tone variations: Same message, slightly different register. More urgent, more casual, more data-driven, or more emotional. Useful for testing which tone resonates with your audience.

When to use variants

Use variants when you find an ad that resonates but want to A/B test specific elements before scaling spend. The best practice: generate 3 variants of a strong hook, approve all 4 (original + 3 variants), push them to your ad platform, and let the algorithm determine the winner after 48-72 hours of data. This is how top-performing DTC brands optimize their creative systematically.

Variant limits

Each variant request generates 3 ads and counts as 3 generations against your monthly limit. On the Pro and Studio plans (unlimited), there is no practical limit to how many variants you can generate.
