· WHAT IT DOES ·
Design by describing
Natural Language Editing removes the gap between having feedback and implementing it. In a traditional workflow, you generate an ad, notice the headline is too long, open a design tool, find the text layer, resize it, adjust the layout, and re-export. That loop takes five to fifteen minutes per change. With NL Editing, you type "make the headline shorter" and see the updated version in under ten seconds. The same approach works for visual changes. "Swap the background to a beach scene." "Use the product image from last week's campaign." "Make the whole thing feel more premium." Mani interprets your instruction, applies the change while keeping your Brand DNA intact, and shows you a before/after comparison. If the result is not quite right, type another instruction to refine. Each edit creates a new version in your history, so you can always step back. The result is an editing workflow that feels like texting a designer who works at the speed of thought. No layers. No tools. No export steps. Just words and results.
· HOW IT WORKS ·
Three steps to perfect creative
- 1 Select an ad. Open any generated ad from your queue, your campaign, or your history. The ad loads in the editing canvas with a text input field below it. You see the full creative as it would appear on the target platform. The canvas is interactive: you can tap any element to highlight it before typing your instruction, which helps the AI understand exactly which part you want changed.
- 2 Type what you want changed. Describe the change in plain language. "Make the headline shorter and punchier." "Change the background from studio to outdoor." "Move the logo to the top-left corner." "Try a warmer color palette that feels more autumnal." You can be specific ("change the CTA text to Shop Now") or directional ("make the whole thing feel more urgent"). Mani handles both.
- 3 See the updated version instantly. The edited version appears next to the original in a side-by-side comparison. Changes are highlighted so you can spot exactly what moved. If you like it, approve the new version. If you want further refinement, type another instruction. Each edit takes under ten seconds to render. Your edit history preserves every version, so you can branch, backtrack, and explore without losing any work.
· WHY IT MATTERS ·
Real scenarios, real speed
Client says "make it pop more"
The most dreaded phrase in creative services. In a traditional workflow, "make it pop" triggers a 30-minute guessing game in Photoshop. With NL Editing, type "increase contrast, make the headline bolder, add a subtle glow to the CTA button." See the result in ten seconds. If the client meant something different, type the next interpretation. You can iterate through five versions in the time it used to take to open the design file and find the right layer.
Quick fix before publish
Your ad is approved and scheduled to publish in two hours. You notice a typo in the subheadline. In the old world, you open Figma, fix the text, export, re-upload. Twenty minutes minimum. With NL Editing, type "change 'you brand' to 'your brand' in the subheadline." Done in ten seconds. The corrected version replaces the original in your publish queue. No design tool, no re-export, no re-upload. Just a quick text correction and you move on with your day.
Iterating on CTA wording
You want to test five different CTA variations without regenerating the entire ad from scratch. Type "change the CTA to 'Shop Now'" and approve. Then "change the CTA to 'Get Yours'" and approve. Then "change the CTA to 'Try Free'" and approve. In under a minute you have five versions of the same ad with different CTAs, ready to split-test. Each version preserves the layout, colors, and imagery. Only the CTA changes. Clean, controlled testing at the speed of typing.
· SAMPLE OUTPUTS ·
Before and after
Before: "Discover the revolutionary new way to care for your skin this summer." After: "Better skin starts here." Same layout, same image, same colors. Just a tighter headline that fits the ad format better.
Before: White studio background with centered product. After: Sun-dappled garden scene with product placed on a natural stone surface. Brand colors and text overlay remain identical. Only the environment changed.
Before: Flat colors, standard sans-serif, tight spacing. After: Subtle gradient background, refined serif headline, generous whitespace, thin gold accent line above the CTA. Same content, elevated presentation.

Common questions
What kinds of edits can I make with natural language?
Almost anything you would tell a designer. Change headlines, swap backgrounds, adjust colors, resize elements, modify typography, add or remove text overlays, shift the mood warmer or cooler, make the CTA more prominent, crop differently, change the product image, add a badge or sticker, and more. If you can describe it in words, Mani can execute it. Complex structural changes (like converting a single-image ad to a carousel) are better handled in Campaign Studio.
How accurate is the editing?
Most single-instruction edits (headline changes, color swaps, background replacements) execute accurately on the first try. More subjective instructions ("make it pop more," "make it feel premium") may need a follow-up refinement. The system shows you the result instantly and you can type another instruction to fine-tune. Think of it as a conversation with a fast designer who gets it right 80% of the time on the first pass and 95% by the second.
Does editing use up my generation credits?
Edits use a fraction of a full generation credit. On average, four to five edits consume one generation credit. This means you can iterate freely without worrying about burning through your monthly allocation. The exact cost per edit depends on the complexity of the change. A headline swap is cheaper than a full background replacement with new image generation.
Can I undo an edit?
Yes. Every edit creates a new version while preserving the previous one. You can step back through your edit history at any time. If you made five edits and want to go back to the version after edit two, tap the history panel and select that version. You can also branch from any previous version to explore different directions without losing your other edits.
Does Natural Language Editing work on mobile?
Yes. The editing interface is fully responsive and works on mobile browsers. You can type your edit instruction or use voice-to-text for hands-free editing. The preview updates in real time on your phone screen. Combined with Mobile Approval, you can reject an ad, type a quick edit instruction, and approve the revised version all from your phone.
Which plans include Natural Language Editing?
Natural Language Editing is available on Studio plans and above. Solo users can view and approve/reject generated ads but cannot make inline edits. The upgrade to Studio unlocks NL Editing along with Campaign Studio, custom vibes, and expanded generation limits. If you find yourself frequently wanting to tweak generated creative before approving, Studio is the right plan.
