Brand Radar monitors your competitors' ad activity so you never miss a trending creative angle or a shift in competitor strategy. It pulls from public ad libraries and gives you actionable intelligence.
Adding competitors
- Go to Brand Radar > Add Competitor from the main navigation.
- Enter the competitor's website URL or their Facebook Page name. If you enter a URL, Mani automatically finds their associated ad accounts.
- Mani scans their public ad library (Meta Ad Library for Facebook and Instagram ads, TikTok Creative Center for TikTok ads) and starts tracking. The initial scan pulls their last 30 days of ad history.
What gets tracked
Brand Radar monitors several dimensions of each competitor's ad activity:
- New ads: Every new ad your competitor publishes, detected within 24 hours of launch.
- Ad longevity: How long each ad has been running. Ads running for 7+ days are likely performing well and worth studying closely.
- Format distribution: What percentage of their ads are static images, video, carousel, or other formats. Shifts in format mix signal strategic changes.
- Copy patterns: Common hooks, CTAs, and messaging angles extracted across their ad library. Shows their messaging strategy over time.
Competitor limits
- Free: 1 competitor (enough to watch your closest rival)
- Starter: 5 competitors
- Pro: 15 competitors (covers your competitive landscape)
- Studio: Unlimited
Alerts
Enable notifications to get a daily or weekly digest of new competitor ads via email. Brand Radar highlights ads that have been running for 7+ days as "likely winners" worth studying. You can also set alerts for specific events like a competitor launching a new format they have not used before, which may signal a strategy shift.
Getting the most from Brand Radar
Check Brand Radar weekly, not daily. Daily checks create noise. Weekly reviews surface meaningful patterns: which competitor ads are still running (and therefore performing), what new angles they are testing, and how their creative strategy is evolving. Use the "Likely winners" filter to focus on ads running 7+ days. These are the ones worth studying and potentially remixing for your own brand.
