The morning queue routine

A 15-minute daily routine for reviewing and approving fresh ads.

The daily queue is designed to be a 15-minute morning routine. Here is the workflow most productive users follow, broken into five steps that take about 15 minutes total.

The routine

  1. Open Mani (1 min): Your dashboard shows the queue count. 3-5 fresh ads are waiting. The queue badge in the nav bar shows the count so you know at a glance whether new ads are ready.
  2. Quick scan (3 min): Scroll through all ads. Get a feel for the batch. Do not judge yet. Look at the overall variety: different hooks, different formats, different products featured. This mental scan helps you compare ads against each other.
  3. First pass: approve or skip (5 min): Go through each ad. Approve the obvious winners immediately. Skip the obvious misses. Flag the "almost right" ones by clicking the star icon. Flagged ads stay in the queue for a second pass.
  4. Second pass: iterate on flagged ads (5 min): For flagged ads, click "Create more like this" to generate variants. Or open in Campaign Studio and edit the copy inline if the visual is right but the text needs tweaking. This is where most of the creative value happens.
  5. Export (1 min): Batch-export approved ads to your connected ad platform or download the files. Select all approved ads from today, click Export, and choose your destination.

Why mornings work

The queue generates overnight. By morning, fresh creative is waiting before coffee is done. Reviewing first thing means your daily ads are queued for the ad platform algorithm before your competitors have started designing. Speed is a real competitive advantage in paid social because the algorithm rewards fresh creative.

Frequency

Daily review produces the best results. The algorithm learns from your approve/skip patterns over time. The more consistently you review, the better your queue gets. If you skip a day, the ads from that day stay in your queue and accumulate. You can always batch-review 2-3 days of queue at once if you miss a morning.

Adjusting queue volume

If 5 ads per day feels like too many, reduce the queue size in Settings > Queue. If you want more options, increase it up to 10 per day. Find the number that takes 15 minutes to review without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
