How much credit do I get per referral? +
$10 for you and $10 for your friend. Both credits are applied when your friend completes their first paid month.
Is there a limit on referrals? +
No limit on total referrals. You can have up to 50 pending (not yet activated) referrals at a time. Once a referral activates, the slot opens for a new one.
When does the credit appear on my account? +
Credits are applied within 24 hours of your friend completing their first paid month. You will receive an email confirmation.
Can I refer someone who already has an account? +
No. Referral links only work for new signups. If someone already has a mani account (including free tier), the referral will not track.
What counts as 'completing first paid month'? +
Your friend must sign up via your link, upgrade to a paid plan (Starter, Pro, or Studio), and remain active for at least 30 days without cancelling.
Can I use multiple email addresses to refer myself? +
No. We check for duplicate email domains, shared payment methods, and IP overlap. Self-referrals are flagged and credits are reversed.
Does the credit expire? +
Referral credits do not expire. They are applied to your next billing cycle and roll over if unused.
Can I combine referral credits with other discounts? +
Yes. Referral credits stack with annual discounts and promotional offers. They are applied after any percentage discount.
How is this different from the affiliate program? +
The referral program gives both parties a one-time $10 credit. The affiliate program (/affiliate) pays 30% recurring commission and is designed for influencers and content creators. You can participate in both.
What if my friend cancels within 30 days? +
If your friend cancels within 30 days, both credits are reversed. This prevents abuse of the refund window.
